The first step is to uncompress the downloaded zip file. If you need a program to unzip the files you can get WinZip, 7Zip or PkZip. For a Mac you can get Stuffit Expander or Zipeg. Once the unzip program is installed, double click on the Zip file and it will uncompress the files into a new folder with the same name. Then follow one of the methods below to load the actions into Photoshop.
The easy way: Open Photoshop and then minimize or hide it. Locate the folder containing the unzipped actions, highlight the actions you want to load and double click. The actions will load into the Actions Panel. Press Option/F9 or Ctrl/F9 to turn the Actions panel on or off.
Alternative Way: Open the Actions panel by pressing Alt F9 (Option F9) or go to the Photoshop Window menu and click on Actions. The Actions panel will appear although it may be linked in a Tab group with other panels. Click on the Actions panel name and drag it to another location if you want it separated in it’s own tab.
Click on the Actions panel menu on the right side and choose Load Actions form the menu choices.

Locate the folder where the unzipped actions are placed. Highlight the actions you want to load by clicking on them and then click Load.

Once the actions are loaded you will see the different sets inside the Actions panel.

Click on the Action set arrow to expand or collapse the Action sets.
